ReplyDeleteMy hubs grew up in India until he and his family moved to the States when he was 13. The Indian Reception was thrown for us by his family and I wore a Sari and we ate Indian food and watched a traditional dance performed just for us. You can check out our pictures in my new Photos Tab above :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I am INCREDIBLY LUCKY that he was only gone a short time. Unfortunately, as many of us will (and many have) experience, he will most likely be deploying again in the near future... and since he plans to retire army, we will probably experience many more. :(
